I am thrilled to be teaching 2nd and 3rd grade at Autaugaville School and to be part of such a warm and dynamic community.  Autaugaville is a wonderful place to teach and learn, and I feel lucky to be in this profession doing what I love. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment, which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best. 

I grew up in Montgomery and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University Montgomery(AUM). I have been teaching for 19 years with 16 of those being here at Autaugaville School. Most of my teaching career has been in 3rd grade, but I welcome the challenge of 2nd grade. This is my very first year of 2nd grade this 2019-2020 school year. 

Outside of teaching I love spending time with my amazing husband of 14 years and my four wonderful children 2 sons and 2 daughters. They keep me very busy with their various sporting events.
