On October 5, 2010, our school observed Fire Prevention Week.  Several volunteers from Autaugaville, Old Kingston, Pine Level, Marbury, Jones and Pentecost Volunteer Fire Departments came to educate students on the importance of FIRE SAFEY.  "Patches", a robotic fire dog, wheeled around the gymnasium in a small fire truck as he warned them of the dangers presented by a fire.  Students were delighted to see the Autauga County Rescue Squad trucks,  Autaugaville Police Department patrol car and a helicopter that was flown in by the Air Evac Life Team from Wetumpka Municipal Airport.
